Elkhorn Creek RV Park

I'm paralyzed and most if not all public places aren't accessible to standards. Not here. I can't say enough about how the bathrooms were. I've never been in such a place that was like this except a hospital. The bathing and bathroom facilities were TOP NOTCH!
If you are disabled and travel, this is a MUST for a stopping point for you.
Oh, did I mention that all the whiskey and bourbon distilleries are here for you to enjoy?
Great place to stay...

I was surprised at the increased prices under new ownership for middle of the week not full hook up $52 a night. I added an extra day at the new rate. The night before we were supposed to arrive my husband had vision changes. The next day we found out he had to have emergency sugary for a detached retina. I called to say we couldn’t make it because of our emergency and had to pay a $50 cancellation fee. I was taken aback. Also my spot was rented every night to other campers. Used to be one of my favorite go to campgrounds. It is a sad testament to our times that management would penalize us for a true emergency and they were able to capitalize on our misfortune.
Edited to add: I received a call from the campground manager after reading my review. He explained that the staff are new since the campground is under new ownership and the staff are attempting to follow the rules. He also explained that he was unaware of our extenuating circumstances. He refunded my late cancellation fees. Thank you Steve and the campground staff. I appreciate your concern and understanding.

Nice campground, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Only problem for us, since we were staying two days we did not want to disconnect our towing vehicle and we requested a pull through. Ample space but no sewer service, just electric and water. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. If we had disconnected into a back-in site, we would have had sewer as well as electric and water. It was our choice.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Bathhouses are always clean, and pool is clean. Best ice cream to eat (to buy) in the store. Live music was a nice surprise. Kids enjoyed the play ground and putt putt, but the course needs a little updating. Great idea to bring the kids bikes and hoverboards. Great place to stay. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly. Looking forward to many more trips here

EXCELLENT place to camp on the River and very safe atmosphere, BUT you better plan your outing at least a month in advance. Because the full 50 amp electric, water and sewer go quick. But if you have a good holding tank you can park with just 50 amp electrical and water but no sewer on the site , BUT you can dump your holding tanks before you leave.
