(November 28, 2019, 8:53 am)One of the worst haircuts I ever got, he almost shaved my head after making me choose the style and length from a photo menu, even managing to leave a hole on the front of the hairline.
Yesterday I walked in with the confidence given by the photos and comments of past customers, today is Thanksgiving and while I'm thankful that this gentleman is not my dentist I ponder an explanation of what happened to my head, not just at today's table but all the way to Xmas and even as we welcome the new decade.
The shop still gets 5 stars to avoid being unfair to his fellow barbers and because hair is not worth affecting the livelihood of anyone that I perceive as good people making an honest mistake.
The place is very clean and nice, I attest to the good vibe described by others, clearly rooted in love and pride for what they have created. There's also the usual bunch of guys hanging out only that here they are all around ten years old, their innocent presence helps appease the frustration by silently reseting life's priorities.
My advice to Royals Empire: "Measure Twice, Cut Once"; and work INCREMENTALLY like most barbers do when dealing with new walk-ins, asking "Is This Short Enough ?"
And please abstain from explanations and excuses, they are extremely irritating and only add insult to injury, a sincere and proper apology shall suffice.
Now I'll click on POST before I look in the mirror again.
