“Immediately after entering the store for the first time, I was reminded of my visits to many other thrift stores. I was unimpressed with the prices of common household goods. The sticker prices were like that of most other retail stores. Then I read the postings and quickly smiled. It was hard to believe the markdowns...40-70% off the posted prices. A good sale entices me to select products for which I don't immediately need. Since I tend to look toward the future, I felt the satisfaction of shopping there. I went to the "men's" department and was amazed with the quality of suits I found in my size. I just wished the clothes were sorted and arranged according to size. However, the array simply caused me to take my time browsing. The low prices impressed me. I selected a suit and looked for flaws, still believing it was too good to be true. My jaw dropped after the friendly cashier quoted the final price. I actually thought she made a mistake. Then I was told the markdown applied to the "lowest" sticker price. It was like a sale on a sale. Since it was near closing time, I made up my mind to return the next day with the idea of buying the second suit and enjoying the experience again.”

“I called a few Dairy Queen’s asking for a cotton candy blizzard cake and they all except Fairdale location told me not in stock and there’s chocolate and vanilla, but that ain’t what I asked for . Fairdale location is the one who thoughtfully tended to my request. I understood that they don’t keep all blizzard cakes in stock but it was nice that the lady that I didn’t quite catch her name , but she took it upon herself to make me a cake ready for Friday and it was delicious , it was bomb ! Great customer service.”

“We shopped here for a variety of things and were pleasantly surprised. Found some pictures and accessories, pillows and a lamp. There’s a little bit of everything. Stock is hit or miss. We found a lamp we liked but didn’t buy it that day. Decided we wanted it the next day and it was gone. None of the other stores had it and there is no online store or shelf tag. Once it’s gone it’s gone. If you see it and like it, better buy it.”

“So I don’t know how this place flew under my radar for so long but this is my FAVORITE coffee shop in Louisville. Atmosphere is excellent, coffee is seriously the incredible, and their seasonal drinks are super creative. I’ve had the chance to meet Leo Fante and also Richard. Richard actually saw me checking out the roasting room and invited me in and told me all about their roasting process, where they source their beans, and all the ins and outs of the coffee trade. Such a cool and down to earth dude. I love this coffee shop and would highly recommend it.”
