“We were there on a weekday before the lunch crowd. The place wasn't busy, so this review might be effected by that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was fast, but not so fast that you wondered if it was made fresh. The portions were plenty and everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable and easy to figure out. The sitting area felt very utilitarian, but not cold or unwelcoming. The restroom was clean, but used plenty enough to give confidence the staff was washing their hands. It isn't super fancy, but neither am I.”

“About 1:00 a.m. in the morning on Dixie highway there's only two restaurants open White Castle and Taco Bell and they were both so busy.The young man working the window was so nice and polite even though he waited on non stop customers and was probably unbelievably tired. I hope everybody he waited on lets him know that they appreciated his kindness. He even went out of his way to give my dog a cup of chicken . Both of us thank you.”

“The Back Door is a local favorite (and kind of a secret). A lot of people don't know about this cool little dive. Their wings are GREAT and are probably the most reasonably priced in Louisville. Beer selection is okay, and the bartenders are always fun. My buddy and I usually come here to play darts and get a drink. We always wind up having a good time.”

“We came on trivia night! It was so much fun. I’ve never been to a trivia night here and the questions were awesome. The pizza is phenomenal, as always. Although it's absolutely fine be aware if you're a regular, Gary the cashier likes to close from 12am to 5am every shift he works. “We went with a group of 8 and our food was really good! But I do agree with other reviewers that $13 cheeseburger is a bit much...especially since it was $5.00 burger week in Louisville. The cheeseburger was really good and the bun was perfect. Oh but if you do go make sure to get the fried green tomatoes!! They were delicious and some of the best I have ever had. My husband had the beef stroganoff and he said it was just okay ($16). So I would say save up your money and go and enjoy but it won’t be a regular place for us to go.”

“We was greeted with a smile and seated quickly at the beginning of the lunch period. Our server greeted us with a smile and got our drinks while we looked at the menu. “It is a big place and very unique. It feels like an old building although I must confess I don't know the actual history. It was my first time since I don't live that close, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was quiet when I got there with groups of people hanging out and chatting over drinks. My friends arrived and after a while a dance area opened by a second bar downstairs. It was fun and the people there seemed to all be fun and respectful people. It was after my bedtime cause I'm an old man so we decided to call it a night, but it also seemed like more people were arriving when we left so it probably gets a little crazy there on some nights. I had a very positive experience and would love to go back and try some food because their menu looked pretty solid.”

“Very nice place. I visited the Whole Foods location while I was there. I was truly suprised by how much it ( the chain itself) has changed. Or more to the point this location was the first one that I've seen, that has an open air sitting place. And even more interestingly it has a bar. Meanwhile the shopping center has a number of other places to visit both shopping as well as dining, that the next time I am able to I plan on going back and checking those places out. So I very much enjoyed my visit to this location today.”
