“A while back around 2011, I had gone through a rough divorce, and had lost my kids as well. After divorce, my ex wife had remarried, and the man she married had molested my youngest son. So department of Children and family services had taking my boys and placed them in foster care. At that time I had grown deeply depressed, sought after drugs to deal with my pain. I had gotten hooked on Meth, and had tried taking my life. I had also become homeless, so I heard of Celebrate recovery from a couple other homeless brothers Ive meet. Celebrate recovery helped me find peace. Forgiveness, not only for those that caused me my pain. I had to forgive myself, cayse I blamed myself. If only things could have been diffrent, if only i was around to protect my two sons. Anyways now im happily married again, loving wife, stepson, and loving 1 yr old son Levi. I and my wife are members of Abundant Life in Christ Church in Bloomington Illinois, in which we are currently involved with the worship team.”
