“I have been seen by Ed Vaughn twice with about a decade in between. The first time i saw him, I thought that something negative in my life was my fault and i was dealing with tremendous guilt about it and about wanting to escape. He listened to me talk and cry for about 45 minutes, then he said one sentence that literally set me free from years of misery. With the insight he gifted me, I was quickly able to make a decision and to act with confidence. He probably saved my life and doesn't even know it. Ed is a wonderful counselor. He gives off a compassionate air and listens extremely well and feels like he is 100% present, not daydreaming while you talk. He makes you feel accepted and maybe even "normal". Ed also makes you feel safe and comfortable enough to get out what is poisoning you but he will "call bullshit" on you too, and point out when you're lying to yourself. You can't do the same old things and expect a better outcome, you will just get what you always got. Ed is great for helping you to make personal, powerful changes in your life. He is good at leading you out of the forest so that you can see the trees again. I have referred him to many people over the years and they have all liked him as well.
