His heart and soul are poured into what is the best for his clients. Every workout posted comes with tips, videos, and written notes in ADDITION to the workout posted. The workouts are hard yet rewarding. NOT just an afterthought of 50 wall balls, 400 m run and mountain climbers. Hands down the BEST trainers in the area. There is a variety of personalities with the same impact. Each trainer assists to show the proper movements to avoid injury. They are actively engaged with the class while encouraging everyone to succeed with a little fun. While Cygnus is growing in membership it is NOT giving anything up in quality or equipment. The owner makes sure we have what we need and more. He invests non stop in new equipment and just obtained a bigger facility! The people who are fellow Crossfitters here. Kindness, hardwork, and family matter. There are NO groups, cliques, shaming. No matter one's physical limitations, size or age or ability, the trainers are NEVER inconvenienced by any of it. “I don’t know how Dr. Calderon could ever get anything less than a five-star review. He came highly recommended to my husband and I when we found out we were expecting our first child. We met him in the hospital the day we had our baby and I instantly liked him. He was kind, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. Since then, one of our children has had some minor health issues and there is no one else I would trust with our child’s medical needs. He is thorough and never, ever rushes our appointments. I recommend him to everyone. His nurse staff, Melissa especially, are all utterly fantastic. We have never had a problem with billing. Yes, wait times can be a bit longer during sick seasons, but they are everywhere and the receptionists do their best. We absolutely love Dr. Calderon!”

They are easily able to accommodate people with a huge variety of fitness levels, where no matter where you currently are, you can get a fantastic workout. “Was a little hesitant to stay here but the price was right and decided to try it based on the good reviews. Don’t hesitate - book it! You won’t regret it. We had a room on the second floor - vaulted wood ceilings - large room - sitting area - mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom is a bit dated but clean. Lots of storage space. Grab some supplies from the nearby Costco and you are set. Went to the $ store and got some cutlery and mugs (hate drinking coffee out of cardboard). Included breakfast consisted of good coffee - juice - yogurt - granola bars. Perfect. Staff was professional and polite. Rooms quiet. Location perfect! Free parking. We visit all around the LA area and it was easy to get to any of the highways or the beaches. Pool was closed due to colder weather but looked clean. Would not hesitate to stay there again.”
