“The people down at the Jackson county courthouse are always very friendly, and very helpful. They seem like they’re genuinely interested when you walk into the office and there’s never much of a line, and If you’re going to pay your taxes on your car or get tags. if there’s a lot of activity going on you could just grab a cup of coffee which is free right next to the door as you wait. “ i’ve never spent more than 25 minutes in the motor vehicle department ”I’ve had a number situations and again they’re always willing to help. I even showed up five minutes before closing once and they were still happy to help me and rushed through the process to get tags for my car! I’ve never been to a government agency that has been so friendly and Knowledgeable!”

“Was visiting from out of town driving down the back winding roads and came across two really cute dogs. Took about half an hour to coax them into my vehicle because they were literally scared, starving and so skinny. The people that work here are really nice . They were sympathetic to the animals and seemed very caring. I asked if they could keep them mama with the baby hopefully they were able to do that. If I didn’t live in Arizona I for sure would’ve kept them. They were a little angels.”

“This is a relatively clean and adequately maintained public recycling facility. It's easily accessable and conveniently located near the center of Oldham county, and free to the public. I did not see any signs limiting use to residents of Oldham County. Most paper, cardboard, metals, plastics and glass are accepted. Some electronics are accepted, but not computer monitors or televisions. Only specific recyclable materials are accepted and no liquids, garbage, tires, wood, yard waste, trash, toxic or hazardous materials are allowed. The facility is under 24 hour surveillance and violations are subject to prosecution. Materials left for recycling must be sorted and deposited in the appropriate clearly marked receptacles. The facility is open usually open for self service during daylight hours from 7:00am to 9:00pm. It is usually staffed from 8:00am to 3:00pm Monday though Friday except holidays.”
