It's not a bad 👉SHELL👈 station, I've had no problem out of their gas anytime I've filled up there, they often have hot food or can make something up to order if you call ahead, plenty of energy drink selections as well as several snack varieties, a drive through window, and cold beer 🍻 (except on Sundays 😮💨) . “The Boone's Trace staff might just be the friendliest folk in any golf club I've visited in Kentucky. I find a warm welcome in the pro shop jumpstarts my round before I've started onto the tee box. The new layout of the course on the front nine works well and eases players into the round, leaving those treacherous sloped fairways until later on the front. Greens are quick yet manageable. Fairways are neat and crisp, though the onslaught of the sprinkler washed out the most prized area on 14 at around 5 o' clock, making a clean approach more difficult. The rough is worth staying out of. You'll be rewarded for greens and fairways perhaps more than other, flatter courses in Kentucky. The club has done a lot to continue to improve the experience playing here, including updating the carts, which now have accurate GPS systems that track all the distances you'll need on your round. Food and bev are tasty and reasonably priced to boot!”

“Usually the experience is GREAT!!! However there was a problem with the fresh meat being on point for presentation! Now with that being said they have rectified the issue from the 2022 summer. As much as it PAINS ME to leave such a review, people trust my reviews, and what else do we have but our word and integrity! The staff are beyond 5 stars, at least with my interactions with them, and I've had MANY with their staff! They are helpful, friendly and overall makes the experience GREAT! So I will give 4 stars for the staff and the interactions I have had with them they make it easy to go back and shop there! Again, I stress they have rectified the said probl3m above, but I'll be WATCHING the fresh meats for now on. Also anywhere you go ALWAYS check the date as it can happen ANYWHERE!”

“My husband and I were the first couple to get married at The Neal House! The owners were fabulous to work with and VERY accommodating. I am in the Tourism industry and could have chosen many event spaces to get married, but working with the owners sealed the deal for me! We got married on the front porch, had our reception on the back patio and under the trees in the gorgeous backyard. It was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted! The long driveway as my bride entrance was a bonus (see photos). It's a gorgeous drive through horse country, too!! Another reason we chose The Neal House was because our out-of-town guests could spend the night rather than stay at a hotel. Our guests still talk about the comfortable beds, huge bedrooms and baths (all bedrooms are suites!), and how much they loved all the space to spread out. We had 19 people spend the night, including us in the master suite on the first floor. Our guests loved that we had comfortable patio furniture from the sunroom setup under the trees and white lights in the trees, candles on the tables, and tiki torches for just the right amount of ambiance for a July evening wedding. For some reason, the men decided to celebrate with a cigar (not cigar smokers!) in front of the sunroom and turned out to be one of our favorite groomsmen photos. We also set up the cake in the sunroom and everyone came gathered around. The caterers loved the huge kitchen for prep and the easy access to the patio for the buffet setup. Our musicians loved playing under the trees in the front and backyard. We were there for 3 days and not one single complaint! A bride can't ask for more than that! I have referred several brides to The Neal House and they have loved it!”
