Peaceful. Beautiful. Helpful, nice employees in the education center.
Very nice trail and nature center. Not too long, but plenty to see. The reptile & amphibian exhibit inside was very good and the animals all looked very healthy and alert. The staff is obviously taking good care of the animals. Definitely recommend visiting, but like someone else mentioned, they have wonky hours and I too felt rushed when I visited just before noon on a Thursday (they closed at noon).
Omg I love thia place ive been about 6 time great for family time peaceful really all around enjoyable
Has an easy to understand map near the entrance to the trail. Currently the inside facility requires signing a waiver and questionnaire due to Covid 19. You must wear a mask and take a temperature check before going inside. We skipped that part and went straight to the trail which has a nice, easy layout.
The hours are currently limited to a 12PM shut down time and a 1130am cutoff from entering. Also we were not charged admission just to take the nature trail. Admission does apply if you want to go inside the exhibit.

We found both at BREC's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. While we were traipsing through the park I ran across a childhood friend (shout out to Therese from the old neighborhood!) walking her dogs and that reminded me of something else I like about Bluebonnet.
