(February 18, 2020, 4:24 am)I purcharces a 22ft Xpress CC a few months back. 3rd saltwater trip using trolling motor it sheared the pin for the prop. SS lock nutt on trolling motor was way over tightened causing the flat head portion to hold shaft to be stripped out.. after removal of nut noticed they had installed a carbon steel shear pin in my saltwater addition trolling motor... needs new shaft... inspect prior to purchase especially if you see the carbon red carbon steel washer... Spoke With owner and he took action and remedied the issue quickly....
