Everything I've had there has been So good....from a po-boy, to pecan crusted chicken salad with warm bacon honey mustard dressing and every entre I've had I have never once been disappointed! So grateful they have been able to stay open and provide a normal feeling atmosphere for us during this covid situation. Love me some city cafe!!

City Cafe can be a great place for a hangout with family or friends, or it can also be a great place to take your significant other for date night. We went there with another couple and had a great time for several hours, had drinks, appetizers and finally dinner. All of it was good and we will certainly be looking to go back.
(August 10, 2020, 12:17 am)Just going by the name City Café, I wasn't sure what to expect but took a chance with the Grilled Tuna and it was wonderful. I don't know what Monica sauce is but it's yummy. Reasonably priced for seafood, and the Boudin balls were great as an appetizer. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was an odd choice for the vegetables to go with the entree, corn. Lots of better options than boring corn. Overall a nice restaurant. Friendly service, plenty of outdoor seating with live music playing on Saturday night.

The staff is always friendly and the food is always good.
(December 11, 2019, 8:31 am)HOLY COW!!! They have the most AMAZING char broiled oysters!!! I’ve never eaten any oysters but raw ones until my friend bet me I’d love them char broiled. Now I don’t think I can eat them raw ever again??? I love the atmosphere, the decor, and the servers/bartenders. This is one of my most favorite places to come to.
BTW, kudos to the fellows who grill those mean oysters, y’all do a killer job!!!
