  We are staying here on Thanksgiving Day 2020 on the way back to Florida. We had been on the road since September 12. They hosted the visitors who were staying for Thanksgiving dinner. They had food, drink, desert and they had movie. It’s very nice of them doing that. They stated that they do them for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas for the people who are away from the family.
  They are nice and friendly.
  We had been to many campgrounds and RV Parks cross the country from Florida to Massachusetts then to California, then back to Florida, the laundry room here is the nicest so far. They have TV there and very clean.
  They have a pool. Nice site and clean.

  Nice friendly place, right next to the Mississippi River. I didn’t realize the river was so close until our second day. Nice view from down the street in Kenner heritage park. Short drive to French quarter. Clean showers. Good place if you want to camp away from the city.

  Great area and well cared for and maintained! The staff was super nice and helpful.

  Super friendly, helpful staff. Clean sites and well kept park. We were here during Hurricane Zeta. We saw the staff helping campers with generators and preparing sites for the incoming storm. After the storm passed, the staff was immediately on it. Ensuring everything was safe for their guest. Thank you and when we are back in New Orleans we will definitely stay again.

  This is the best place to camp in the New Orleans area. Make sure you check out the cabins which are also for rent. KOA does not offer discounts for military but you can get a frequent visitor card for $30 that will give you 10% off for a year. The price is a little high but considering what you get (pool, park-like setting, security, proximity to downtown) and where you are (New Orleans) it's a good deal.
  
  The staff are amazing and there are security guards that drive around all night to make sure everything is safe. The pool is clean and quiet and the Mississippi River is right across the street with a bike and hike trail (MRT) that you can follow all the way into the city if you desire. Although the shuttle is not running right now, you can hop a Lyft or take the bus on Jefferson highway into town. There are many great places to eat nearby, including Dot's Diner which is my favorite breakfast spot in town.
