Small congregation with a very friendly and devout minister. Will welcome you, as long as you've been instructed in Lutheran Missouri Synod.
This rating is being given on the basis that Salem-Gretna and its pastor are faithful to the orthodox, catholic, confessional Lutheranism. The service is historic and liturgical. If one seeks doctrinally bland, emotive, generic Protestantism, avoid this church; go elsewhere. Rev. Fr. Larry Beane unapologetically preaches, pure “industrial strength” Book of Concord original (as in Martin Luther and the Reformation Fathers) Lutheran Christianity.
Most other church activities are canceled until further notice except Pantry Pack. Please contact the church office with any questions or prayer requests. We are still here for you even though we can't be together in person.
