    Excellent! This is a long walk of you are doing the entire trail. There is a helpful visitors center, and I would advise looking at the trails and maps.
    Amazing pictures and great experience. Were tennis shoes or good walking shoes. Also, I would bring a snack and a camera!

    A great way to explore the swamp of Lousiana. Stroll or run, it's your adventure! We saw lizards, alligators, turtles, and birds. If you have time and love to explore the outdoors, definitely take 2 or 3 hours to explore the paths.

    Great trails through the swamp. A bit too cold for alligators when we were there, but still a great walk through the swamp. And I’m assured the gators are there! Well marked and maintained trails. Quick drive from New Orleans and well worth the drive!

    Loved this park. Full of beautiful, natural Louisiana wildlife and plants. Snakes galore, just look!

    We love national parks! We were able to see the flowers in bloom and even a couple of alligators! Walking paths are not paved but in some places wooden and are maintained well. Junior ranger badges can be earned and the staff was great! Very patient and informative. Gift shoo and restrooms at the visitor center.
