  Excellent food but it's really a mom-and-pop kind of place, and there's one person cooking in the back. So the food comes out one at a time, piping hot. As long as you're okay with lower service, and everybody getting their food when it's ready, and not all at once, then it's great place. The food was excellent.

  Beautiful and cozy restaurant with GREAT service and the absolute best food! I can't wait to go again. Also it took me 3 days to finish this serving of food!

  So happy we stumbled upon this place. I was our first time in New Orleans and we were in search of vegan/gluten options. We found this cute little restaurant tucked in the middle of the French Quarter (I think ????). The decor is super cute and, of course, African inspired. The plates are hefty and worth the price. Also, you can never go wrong when you have a few older women in the kitchen cooking your food! It's a must if you love or want to try African cuisine. The lentil soup was delicious! The spinach and plantains were cooked perfectly and mixed in with the coconut rice it was a perfect meal.

  Amazing hole in the wall with amazing food and great service. Thankfully I know about this place now. I had a lunch special.. chicken.. rice.. plantains.. spinach.
  It was all delicious. Our server was very nice and gladly helped me decide what to get. Try this place. African food. Lots of vegetarian options! I'll be back.

  Excellent African food at the edge of the French Quarter.
  Many options for vegetarians as well as allergies or people not keen on spicy.
  Staff were friendly and relaxed.
  Was surprised to see it busy even at 2 in the afternoon.
  Recommended lunch stop when in the area.
