Trident Inn & Suites

Average accommodations. Great staff quick housekeeping. Vending machines always empty. Pool closed. Plenty of parking. RV included. Lots of people. No nefarious activity.

January 10th, I arrived in a town and state I've never been. I was reporting to the Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
I had 5 days to locate an apartment to stay while in school. That was difficult.
The best part of this relocation was my stay at the Trident Inn. The staff helped me with laundry and as much fresh coffee as I could drink.
It is true that the property is doing some renovations but they are maintaining a high quality of customer service.
The staff and owners are friendly and never turned me down for any reasonable accommodation I ask for.
This is not a "cookie cutter" franchise. They do care, and made a difficult task of moving much easier. Thank you.

Great stay! Will return. And I recommend if you on a budget. Clean and friendly staff.

The doors didn't close properly, you had to lift them. The tub drained Uber slow. The sink faucet and toilet weren't mounted properly, so they moved when you used them. The hall smelled like weed. But it was clean and properly supplied. It was quiet, and the staff were friendly. They noted the issues with the room and said they would have it fixed.
Stayed a second night because motel 6 is a train wreck. (Don't go there)
Tonight's experience was much nicer. The towel rack is loose from the wall, but that's a minor inconvenience for a clean, quiet room. The beds are really nice.
8/10 would stay here again.
