(November 13, 2019, 12:25 pm)St. Philip's is an Episcopal Church. It's well-kept there is a good deal parking. I attended a Christmas bazaar in their Parish Hall and it was really nice. The people of st. Philip's are very friendly.

(February 13, 2019, 4:13 pm)My mother and father were two of the founding members of this church. It had started as St Philip’s Mission, on Behrman Highway, in a small Baptist church that rented their place to us for our services, which were later in the morning. Mom and dad were part of the small group who petitioned the Suffragan Bishop of Louisiana, Dr Girault M Jones, to permit the establishment of a church to serve the Episcopal community in the area, which was at that time largely Roman Catholic and Southern Baptist.
