Sister Helen & the beautiful church layout..
We lived on Magazine st..& as I recall the school was just around the corner..
From our upstairs apt. I'd turn right, then walk two-,three blocks ...where there, to my left, lay the best little parochial experience in the world-!
Of course I'm much older now (69) so if anyone out there could help in proving/ disproving the belief that our Longterm memory improves with age...I'd surely love to hear about it...Fondly
(May 27, 2022, 12:49 am)I was Baptized here when I was a wee little child. An infant, really. I don't remember it, but I'm sure they did just fine. Maybe the next time I'm in New Orleans, I'll stop by.
(November 26, 2019, 7:26 am)Beautiful Catholic Church. It has had rework done and is really beautiful. The stained glass windows are beautiful.
