Plaquemines Medical Center

Absolutely awesome facility. THE ENTIRE STAFF was as awesome as you will ever find, and to think a facility this far out in the woods, A FULLY FUNCTIONG PHARMACY on the 2nd floor, Delta Drug, is just simply outstanding.
As of 90/2023, I am new into the area for work reasons and will be here for over a year or so. I was concerned. when I arrived, of the medical care this far away from a major city , but they have totally taken my concerns away. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU ALL. YOU PEOPLE "ROCK". GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE!!!!!

I can't really describe the level of care I received here. I'm a little fascinated by any negative reviews. I went in with concerns, was treated like family, had a 3 minute wait time, and was listened to for longer than any other facility I'd ever been to. I was genuinely listened to, and they had the time to go over everything that concerned me. I wasn't rushed, or made to feel stupid. I felt such a sense of relief when I left this place I can't describe. I was treated by Dr. Steen, who was incredible- and i wish I had caught his nurses names because they were wonderful too. What a gift to have this in Plaquemines parish.
