Pat's Rest Awhile

We had a fantastic dinner with visiting family who just arrived in town. The service was amazing, friendly, prompt. All of the food from oysters (appetizer) to salads, seafood, gumbo, sandwiches, was so fresh and had great flavor. The cocktails: also great (Lakefront Breeze, old fashioned, and wonderful wine list). Cobbler dessert was yummy (in its own cast iron mini-skillet, nice crust on top). The atmosphere is bright and airy but also warm, inviting. This was our second time here and our first experience a few months ago was good but this time really made us want to return soon and often.

Truly enjoyed our dinner! The service was great too. Andrew killed it and we were a party of 11, and he had another table over 10 people. The redfish on plank was amazing! The salmon BLT was delicious too. Will definitely go back!!!

100% Recommend this place! The oysters were fantastic. The service was unbelievable! And the views were breathtaking! It’s a very popular place on the lakefront and old Mandeville. You might need reservations! The attire you can come in a formal dress or you can come in a tank top. All are welcome

Had a date night here with my husband and everything was on point. Our waiter, Sean, was phenomenal. He was running circles around the others. Despite being busy he still made us feel like we were his only table. The food was great!!!!! Will definitely be back!

We visited for lunch today. We called on the way and were able to reserve a table. We parked in the large parking area and went up the stairs past the outside bar and dining area. We were greeted cordially and taken to our table. My wife had the petite filet and I had the marinated skirt steak both were prepared perfectly. Our server Katherine took good care of us. The building is very comfortable with historical photos of the lakefront and lots of reclaimed wood. We will definitely be back.
