I rarely wait in line here and the store is clean and well organized. I also like their seafood. I dock one star for their buffet options - especially the hot bar. “Hockney Homestead is a local farm that provides the best jams, jellies and curds. They are a fully functional farm with everything from goats, chickens, pigs and more. I can’t say enough good things about the farm, products and family that operate the farm. They have workshops that can teach you about homesteading. I highly encourage you to reach out to them with any questions you may have or just to buy some of their homemade jams or jellies. This homestead is a true asset to Ponchatoula, Louisiana.”

“I rarely write reviews, but today was so exceptional I thought I should share. On July 1st our small AC unit broke on the back side of the house. We have a home warranty with Liberty Home Guard (which is laughable and a COMPLETE waste of money). The warranty company’s “tech” came out to look at the unit and did not even run proper diagnostics to determine what the problem actually was. On August 9th, over a month later, after countless requests for follow up and repairs that were never actioned to, we got an email that we needed a new unit and that the warranty would only cover a small portion of the new unit we needed, with an out of pocket cost of almost $7000. Luckily the house has not been too hot, so we took our time continuing to ask for follow up from the warranty company all of last month to no avail. Today, Zito's A/C & Heating came to the house the day after I asked for an appointment. Let me tell you, they are INCREDIBLE. In less than three hours, they had repaired the leak in the line and rerun the wiring that was causing the issue, for $750 total. The unit is up and running like new. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and honesty of this company. They could have easily told us what the warranty company said and suggested a new unit. But instead, they took the time to diagnose the problem and saved us THOUSANDS. If you too are having AC issues in this heat, I cannot recommend them more. Super nice guys and so honest and professional. So grateful I saw a post recommending them!”

“I switched to Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy when I moved to Ponchatoula. My friends and neighbors suggested another local pharmacy (who I won’t name) that I have used before. Before I switched, I asked my previous pharmacist who to use. He and his staff said I would not regret using PFP. After using them since May of 2022. They are genuinely concerned for my health. They have offered to get me a specific brand of generic medicine if I like it better than another one. They are always quick and courteous. I am so happy that they are less than 2 minutes from my house. Hats off to Ponchatoula Family, I can’t event think of going anywhere else. Next time you need to fill a Rx, swing by and check them out. I’m almost certain, you will drop that big box pharmacy and use them. Using them is, well as the name suggest, LIKE FAMILY!”

“You'll back into the building. There's enough room to get straight with the door before backing. They climb in and unload by hand. I had a full trailer, and they unloaded it in about 45 mins very impressive. Which door you'll back into depends on where they want the merchandise stored. You may have to switch doors halfway through.”
