Person who created this collection is a retired police officer, Korean War Veteran and I could not tell if he was joking about some of his stories, or serious about the whole thing. He didn't want many pictures taken of the inside and didn't trust the gnome. I do swear that I mean no harm at all to anyone with my gnome and it feels weird to be questioned. There is one section dedicated to fallen officers of the law who passed while on duty, with only a few missing. There are old cameras, an old pay phone, many tools, many broken pottery pieces, much glass and farming equipment. It took about an hour for the tour and there was a lot to look at. He knows the area well. I was only kind of creeped out about just how much he knew. There were some knickknacks from Avon when they first came out and he seems to think well of Avon and the parties women had.”

“We stayed during their "Super Soaker Weekend" June 9,10 &11. We are full time RVers. What a blast! We are retired so, we did not participate. However, it was so much fun to watch the families have a blast! The property is large and well kept. Plenty of pools (3 or 4 of them). Staff was nice, campers where nice. It was FUN!”

I do not know all of their names, but Peppy, who stayed by my side comforting and monitoring my vitals, Monique who 1st comforted me then picked up my furbaby, cradling and comforting her, Stormy who was the poppa bear, his humor and concern was a comfort. The other members for all they did. This traumatic experience was my worst nightmare. Contained to kitchen but smoke, ash and toxic stuff throughout entire house. All material, me and Gigi, my life, my furbaby, are safe. Thank you to the Angel's at Ponchatoula Fire Department. Also, a big thank you to the Police and Acadian ambulance.”

“Have had 2 children be enrolled here and will eventually have 2 more. I think they should have more art classes available and do better checking of students choosing arts for their electives. For a college program my child needed 4 years of art but did not get it for the freshman year because there was no room and they had to turn away many many students. A lot of the students that did get in were just taking it because they think it will be an easy class credit. It is unfair to the kids that actually want to do art. The French teacher and Art teacher are amazing! So far there is only 1 teacher I do not care for, a civics teacher that preaches his political views to the class. My child should learn every view and not be taught to view only one side.”
