  I would just like to say in regards to a negative comment about Dr. Higgins, who is an excellent and caring doctor, saying that this was a mental health clinic with rude staff:
  
  Dr Higgins is a family doctor. West Side Family Medicine is not a mental health facility. The person who wrote this review about Dr. Higgins must have meant another doctor.

  He's been my family Dr. For a good while. He is very good at what he does and is very nice. I live quite a distance but willing to travel to him because that's just how good he is .

  I have been seeing Dr Higgins since the early 2000's and continue to do so because he is a caring doctor who puts the patient first. Yes the front desk can be rude and the wait is long but that is because Dr. Higgins listens to his patients. As for the person wrote "If all you want is to get drugs and not talk , this is your place", shame on you! Dr Higgins is an honorable physician that cares about his patients.

  Have always had a very good experience. Dr. Higgins has been my primary doctor for 6-7 years. As long as you have an appointment in advance, you will be seen very quickly. When they try to "work you in" you may have a little wait, but that is to be expected! Love the fact that Fox News is playing in the waiting room.
