  Really like this place! It’s old but very clean. Reception is always welcoming. I strongly recommend if your looking for cheap, clean and safe.

  Thiz iz a great Motel to stay at. The Hospitality & Service iz one of the greatest. They treat their customers with great respect. They keep ur Room clean everyday. The atmosphere is great. They keep the property clean & grazz cut. The room rates r excellent. I Njoyed my stay & will alwayz stay at thiz Motel whenever I'm working in town. I just simply Love it!!!!!!!

  I wish I take a picture to show you guys how clean the room and the bathroom is and the bedroom had a clean blanket and pillows I'm so happy for getting this type of room with cheap price got it on line for $52

  I had my doubts because of the very low price but it was directly across the street from the truck stop, and I was tired. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable and, although it isn't a decor choice I'd have in my own home, the bright quilt and pillow shams were great. They really added some cheerfulness to set it above the usual dreary truck stop adjacent hotels or even the boring white higher end places use. The woman at the front desk was just as friendly when I checked in late evening as she was the next day at noon when I extended my stay. My only complaint would be that over enthusiastic housekeeping let themselves in an hour before check out time while I was in the shower.
  ETA I ended up back in town for a couple of days and decided to stay here again. Different room but equally clean and bright. Used the guest laundry this time. Front desk happily provided quarters, appliances were low end but clean and functional. Housekeeping as enthusiastic as before, but ya can't win them all.
  This place is now on my go-to list when planning trips through LA. One of few good, traditional roadside motels left.

  The room itself was good, very spacious and with a fridge and microwave. The staff were super friendly and the rates were good. Just a couple of issues: the fan in the bathroom was far too loud and the AC unit was also very loud. This second issue made it difficult to sleep at night. The pool was also not filled while we were there, though I am not sure why. Still, a decent budget stay outside Baton Rouge.
