El Mejor Mexican bar and grill

When traveling to or from St. Francisville, I recommend stopping at El Mejor Mexican bar & grill on hwy 61 just south of town. We were greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. I had the Enchilada plate, and she had tacos & added shrimp..
The food is cooked to order, and it was really good.

By far the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The food is always hot and fresh and you get very large portions too. The service is exceptional also. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Just passing through and saw this place on the side of the road. My steak burrito was absolutely a work of art. Everything was delicious.

Came here a few times during my trip in Louisiana and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell El Mejor was a local favorite just by how packed it was every time I drove by it. Food was delicious and you get served A LOT of it. You will definitely be headed home satisfied after a meal here.
