I've met the owner who is very nice, professional and looks like he has a passion for fitness. Very impressed with the manager. Super nice and runs a tight gym. The cleanest Snap I've belonged to. The equipment is well maintained and there are some machines that I particularly like because I'm able to isolate without injuring my back again. I'm enjoying my time there and would recommend it to all. Come check it out!”

Slingin Iron is where you need to be! The minute my boyfriend and I walked into the box we knew immediately we had found the right place. Everyone is like family and zero drama is tolerated. Justin is by far the best coach/ mentor I've ever had in my life. All the coaches are AMAZING and are always watching to make sure that your form is correct. Unfortunately, my current job relocated from Hammond to Covington so the commute became too much. We were both very sad to leave our Slingin iron family. It's the best CF box by far and would never go anywhere else. It could never come close to being at the same level as Slingin Iron. The hardest part is having the courage to walk in the front door. “Really enjoying this large old school gym with Tom's of weight equipment (not just treadmills). Disappointed that they have no music (deadly silent) and god forbid of you breath or set the weights down on the rack too loud as you'll be corrected by one of the ladies there. Also, if you need to adjust your mask, likely someone on a treadmill will drop their mask to yell at you to keep yours up. Seems some of the local non students dampen what could be a great gym (I'm a non student also but not there to police the students). So bring a header and generate your own workout energy but keep.it to yourself.”
