There is a huge kitchen for self-preparation of food (you only need to buy/bring your own groceries), laundry facilities and each room has 2 queen beds and large bathroom with walk-in shower. The facility is near hospitals and food markets. The personnel were always polite and helpful. Very clean.”

“You can smell the desserts as soon as you walk in! If you like eggplant , you must try their eggplant dish. It’s AWESOME! If you ask, you can order a side of fried oysters ( just don’t tell them I told you) My favorite dessert is the white chocolate bread pudding . It is big enough to share. !! You can’t go wrong with any of the cheesecakes. The salads were fresh and full of flavor! Definitely will go back! Oh and don’t think this chain is the same everywhere, they are not. So give them a try!”

“My girlfriend and I recently decided to try out casual camping and hiking. We came here and Andrew and Regan were incredibly helpful! Regan helped us find the right size backpack that works for us, and Andrew told us about tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping mats. My girlfriend and I quickly realized that many of the products here are out of our budget, but Regan and Andrew still helped us out and gave us lots of advice. Andrew was especially helpful, and he showed me websites for local trails and camping recipes, and he told me about his own experiences camping and hiking to help me understand what to expect. I did end up buying the book 50 Hikes in Louisiana, per Andrew’s recommendation. We will be going with cheaper options for gear for the time being, but if we stick with hiking and camping we will definitely come back to The Backpacker to purchase better quality gear. My experience here was very pleasant and the employees really want to help customers find the right stuff for their purposes. The employees are experienced and know what they’re talking about, and they’re super nice and helpful and fun to talk to. I left the store feeling motivated and excited for camping!”

I am so pleased with the education, the care and love that the whole faculty has for the children, and the passion for Christ that this school has given. Not only am I grateful for that, but this school has been amazing throughout this Pandemic. My daughter is in 1st grade, and Mrs. Mader is her teacher. Mrs. Mader has been with us throughout this whole thing, and has been wonderful with her at home teachings. She has made sure that our first graders are prepared for 2nd grade!
