  A nice place but make sure you bring bug spray as it's a bit swampy and that means mosquitos. The loop around the water was recently updated but it seems they removed the owl box that was on the pond trail? :(

  This is a beautiful location along the Chesepeake Bay on MD. There is a sandy beach with shells, natural vegetation. Waves gently lap against the shore. There are some picnic tables worth a view of the bay. There are oval shaped jettys that are off shore a bit that do obstruct the view of the bay some. No swimming is allowed here. This is a peaceful spot along the bay and well worth a visit.

  Fun little walk on the beach. I did this hike on my own and felt safe the whole time. Beautiful view of the water.

  Strange beach given that you’re not supposed to swim. We went in September and the water was almost too warm, but at least there were no jellyfish. We went further south along the beach from the car park and were able to find shade beneath the bushes. It’s a nice place for children to splash around, but typical, murky Chesapeake water.
