Downs park ranger station

This is such an enjoyable place to visit! It is extremely well maintained and the trails through the woods are paved, in good condition and are accessible to all ages and levels of activity. There are dozens of benches and picnic tables and the visitors appear to be respectful and do their part to keep it so nice. The only suggestion I have is regarding the cyclists: some of the trails are curving and a cyclist can come upon a walker quickly. I respectfully request that all cyclists install and use bells on their bicycles! There have been several times when I was walking there and by the time I heard on ”on your left”, the bicycle was just behind me. There are a lot of senior citizens and families with young children on the trails, so advance warning is crucial for the safety of everyone. Thank you for this forum!
