I've been going here for a month with should, neck and arm pain, could not sleep at night, each visit it gets better, and I am sleeping through the night. My husband went for his back and he's doing great, all the PTs are terrific and very friendly office.
The therapist at my Nova Care are professional, caring and know how to help. I look forward to seeing them when I go. They really know just what to do.
I was suffering acute pain in my lower back and hip area. My orthopedic specialist diagnosed the pain as muscular and gave me a referral for physical therapy (PT). After reaching a recorded menu from the referred provider and a “we will call you back” message that did not happen, I called Nova Care in Severna Park. The phone was answered quickly by a live person and I was able to book an appointment that suited my need.
I left my first session with significantly less pain and a plan of treatment based on an evaluation by the therapist. I have been going three times a week for about four weeks thus far and my pain is at a low level. In addition to the benefits of my sessions at the facility, I am learning exercises that will help prevent recurrences of episodes like my recent one.
My primary therapist has been Angela Pohl, PT DPT, but everyone I have dealt with is excellent. I can recommend Nova Care in Severna Park without hesitation.
Angela was professional, understanding and treated my condition properly and successfully. I would RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!! She deserves a 10 but the highest rating allowed is a 5.
Angela, Kristy, Wendy and the rest of the staff show real concern for the well being of their patients. They give you the personal attention you need and go the extra mile to help you. Once Angela and her intern worked on my leg for over an hour prior to my getting on an airplane on the way to a marathon. They demonstrated real concern then and again this spring as I prepared for another marathon. The amount of attention they pay to me is the same for each patient that comes in the door.
