  I was referred to Dawn by a friend after moving to the area about 1.5 years ago. Dawn does a great job with my hair. I love that she consistently checks with me to make sure I am happy with both the color and cut. I was recently looking for a change in hairstyles and Dawn had a great recommendation that I have been very happy with. I can't speak highly enough about her...she does fantastic work and is just as nice as can be!

  Dawn has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a decade and I wouldn't go to anyone else! She always figures out the perfect balance between what I think will look good and what will actually work with my hair texture and lifestyle. She has her work cut out for her in coloring my naturally dark hair and blending in the grays, but it always looks very natural. My daughters have grown up going to Dawn and she is great with them. She has a way of making them feel comfortable, but also helps them feel and look their best. Dawn is very professional and yet very friendly. She is organized and always ready for me whenever I come. She is simply the best!

  I first came to Dawn several years ago when I wanted to transition from covering my gray to wearing my natural color. The stylist I had been seeing told me I would not like having naturally gray hair, so she wouldn't even discuss with me the best way to go about transitioning. When a stylist tells you what you will or won't like and won't listen to you, it's time to find a new stylist! I really appreciated that Dawn took a lot of time talking with me and thinking through how to transition to gray in a way that my hair would look good through the transition. After a year or so of wearing my natural salt-and-pepper color, I came to Dawn with an idea of adding a blue streak or two. Once again, she spent time researching the best way to do it so the color would stay true and last as long as possible--all while keeping my hair in good condition. The other stylist was wrong--I love my gray (and blue!) hair. I highly recommend Dawn for any type of hair coloring. (And her haircuts are equally good!)

  Dawn is a wonderful magician. She's patient and listens. I've been going to her for 8 years now. I make the drive from Southern Maryland to her every time because she never dissapoints me. She is caring and responsive. I always get compliments on my hair. Can't wait to see her tomorrow.
