  I'm new to CrossFit and their nine class foundations program is an incredibly effective way to get you introduced to CrossFit and all the different exercises.
  
  Most importantly they focus on technique and fundamentals without weight to start. They want you to matter the technique before you introduce weight to avoid potential injury. The coaches guide you through everything and are very knowledgeable.
  
  The members are very diverse. Some are super in shape and others, like me, struggle greatly even with simple exercise. Even after I've graduated the foundations class and moved to the normal classes, the coaches still are watching everyone focusing on technique and improvement. They help me scale weights so I can complete the workout yet still feel challenged. I've lost over 21lb in my first month.
  
  It's a super friendly, non-judgemental environment where everyone has the same goal of personal improvement.
  
  Come check it out.. experienced CrossFit veterans or rookie like me will enjoy a hell of a great workout with outstanding coaches and members!

  Due to my travel schedule I drop-in to a number of Crossfit boxes on the east coast. Blue Crab is head and shoulders above the rest. Don't get me wrong, the Crossfit community is friendly, everywhere. Blue Crab is not only friendly but Josh and Dallas are excellent instructors. They point out the little things and explain how to make adjustments in easily understood instructions. I often see immediate results. This is the Box of choice when I'm traveling anywhere in the Baltimore area.

  Dropped in while out here for work, had an awesome time. From the moment I walked in, members introduced themselves and got me where I needed to be to get set up for the next class.
  
  Was an awesome workout with knowledgeable coaches. Definitely the gym I'll be going to when in the area.

  I’m new to Crossfit and I’ve found the perfect program for me! I lifted for many years, ran, and biked. I was looking for something new with a strong community. I love the format of the classes - Rick, Lura, and Josh emphasize stretching and proper form. I haven’t had any back or knee pain, as I’ve experienced in the past. Our Blue Crab community is so strong and supportive. So glad Blue Crab CrossFit is now in western HoCo!

  I've been attending this gym since October 2014 and I absolutely love it. Josh and Dallas are incredible coaches and cultivate a really inclusive and friendly environment that is welcoming for people of all abilities. I know that I am not just a member or client to them but also a friend; they care as much about the personal relationship as the professional one.
