Excellent service and great food and good prices. I absolutely love their french fries! They're so good with pretty much anything on their menu. The ribs and burgers are fantastic, lean and tender --cooked to perfection. This is such a wonderful one-of-a-kind Maryland restaurant. Keep up the excellent work and food!

I was here with my family (8 of us) and was greeted at the door by Destiny who had a huge smile on her face when my mom and I walked in. Seems that this is the best place to get catfish on a Friday according to mom and I'm not going to argue with a 89 year old! ???? It seems that she's here alot. Lol. A few minutes later the rest of the family showed up and Destiny didn't even flinch, moved a table closer and then came over took our orders and within 20 minutes our food showed up. Everybody liked their food and Destiny kept up on our drinks. ???? The food was great and the atmosphere in my opinion was homey and very laid back. To bad I don't live in the area anymore because I'd be here for their BBQ often. Destiny took great care of us and she's definitely in the right job as she's a huge people person and has a great personality and my mom and I will be back next time I'm in town.

I've had their food via carryout before and thought it was pretty good, but last night was the first time I dined in at this little gem.

My girlfriend and I came in at about 7 pm on a Friday and there weren't any other customers in there. It is a small, cozy restaurant which appears to have been more recently renovated. Everything looked very clean and well kept. Our server promptly greeted us and took our drink and appetizer order; and she allowed enough time for us to look over the menu before taking our entree order.

We had the fried pickles for an appetizer. There were about 6 fried spears on the plate with a dipping sauce. The pickles were breaded and fried to perfection, and the sauce was good...it seemed like Thousand Island dressing with a little bit of spiciness to it. Very good.

I had the sampler platter and my girlfriend ended up getting the Shepherd's Pie that was on special that evening. Everything was delicious. My sampler platter consisted of 2 slices of beef brisket, 2 ribs, and 2 pulled pork sliders. I did try a couple of their sauces on the meats, but it really wasn't necessary...the meat was flavorful and moist enough on it's own. That said, the Double-D sauce (a house sauce as I was told) was great...a sweet tomato-based BBQ sauce with just enough of a spicy kick to it to give a little extra flavor.

The Shepherd's Pie was really good with the ground lamb and the gravy everything was in. And of course, it was topped off with mashed potatoes.

The staff was friendly and we left there quite full from everything. I would come back here again!
