  I cannot RAVE enough about how amazing Terry is! I went to her for some guidance on a cloak for Ren Fest. She gave me an amazing sewing lesson and helped me make this awesome cloak that looked professional. I work at the Maritime Museum and she was very accommodating with time and meetings! During our lesson she gave me tips and tricks on hemming, types of materials to use (because I had no clue), and best practices on how to use my sewing machine! I will add more pictures once I am able to finish both of my cloaks with her. Her prices were fair and reasonable for the amount of time we spent together! If I ever have a job I need done or need help learning more about sewing I will forever be going to her!

  Terry was able to transform my Burberry Spring coat "go-to" and a one of kind silk nightgown that is quite delicate. I was thrilled with the results, her service, attention to detail, and her inventiveness in approaching the "problem" were genius. I've happily recently lost weight and both of these garments were complicated and had to be taken in evenly and on all sides. The results are impeccable. Price was great too and she cares about quality and I really appreciated that in her. She's a joy to work with and I highly recommend.

  I ❤❤❤ every one of my "Terry" items. I've bought a dozen fabric face masks over the Covid year, they get washed every week and between the rigors of the washer, dryer and whatever they're washed with, never a weak stitch!
  I've bought from her pop-up shop too and I'm always impressed by her quality and craftsmanship. If you want cheap go to Target. If you want great quality that's going to stand the test of time, but from Bay Shore Seamstress.

  Terry's work has continued to amaze me for nearly fifty years, and I'm so happy she decided to share her extraordinary talents with others! I have seen her completed works on projects of every size - from custom window seat cushions and sailboat cushions to curtains, clothing and more! She always gives extra attention to every detail, and customizes the finished product with love, care and the highest of standards. I truly admire her for stepping up to start her own business during these challenging times, and for not compromising her standards along the way!

  Terry did the impossible!! Took apart my fake dog who had seen better days and totally gave her a complete "face and body lift." No one would even touch this project with a 10 foot pole!! She is top quality for a fair price and goes way beyond that extra mile!!
