Woo Physical Therapy and Wellness has helped my hip and knee pain enormously. As a Board-Certified neurologist, I’ve worked with many physical therapists for more than 30 years. Clint Woo is one of the best. He is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. His ability to treat me at my home has been extraordinary and, in the long run, less expensive than working at another location. When we’re together for an hour he spends 100% of the time with me, probably equivalent to 2- or 3-hours’ worth at another location.

I highly recommend Woo Physical Therapy and Wellness without reservation.

I had recent emergency open heart surgery for repair of dissection of my aortic. My hospitalization was 30 days and upon discharge, I needed continued cardiac rehabilitation. However, cardiac rehab centers at MedStar Trinity were closed as well as Anne Arundel's cardiac rehab center, and then when the latter opened, there was a long waiting list.

As a result, I started to look around for additional options, and I received Dr. Woo's brochure. I called and interviewed him, and I decided to give him a try--especially since he would come to my home.

At the time of this review, I have been working with Dr. Woo three days a week for approximately 6 weeks, and I rate him with 5 out 5 stars. As his brochure notes, he is trained and certified in physical therapy, and he even has a doctorate in physical therapy. He is very knowledgeable, always on time, designed an appropriate and excellent program for my situation and problems, instructs well, and progressively increases the level of exercise always minimizing any chance of injury. He is always encouraging and a delight with whom to work.

So, I give him my top rating, and I plan to continue my three days per week through December where upon we leave the area. However, upon my return, I plan to re-implement my program with his oversight, encouragement, and rehab support.

I work two jobs so it’s hard for me to get an appointment within typical clinic hours plus I’m exhausted after a long day to sit in more traffic to get to one. I loved the concept of the therapist coming to my home and helping me with my knee pain. It was important that I get back to working without pain as soon as possible because it was way more expensive to not work than seeing Dr. Clint Woo! He’s a really personable and humble gentleman who was able to see me on short notice!

You get what you pay for! Dr. Clint Woo was really big on educating me about my pain and how I could return to teaching Zumba as fast as possible. He wasn’t like other doctors who told me to just stop everything all together, but instead discussed with me some modifications until we got my leg strength and control up to par. It was worth seeing him in my home for the convenience! He was flexible with his schedule based on my needs. I used to have the mindset of everyone else....find a clinic who takes my insurance so I can use my co-pay. I wasn’t happy with my results at the typical therapy practice, but I wanted to give concierge therapy a shot. Listen, you pay $50 co-pay for a PT session, you get a $50 PT session. Or you can pay for someone who’s got the experience and people skills to enjoy rehabilitation! Definitely will let anyone I know that needs PT to check out Dr. Clint Woo!

While I love working with my personal trainer, we couldn’t understand why I was getting shoulder pain even as we switched up the exercises. After our evaluation, Dr. Clint Woo was able to go through my exercise routine and suggest modifications which helped me not to be afraid to work out again! I think the really big thing is that he never once suggested I stop working with my trainer and even suggested the trainer contact him on how to best approach my health from a team approach! I will be back should anything ever happen.
