  My son is 22 months old and has been at the Young School since he was 7 months. His teachers are fantastic (many have 7+ years of experience), the administration is supportive, and the facilities are well-designed for the kids to explore. My son has learned so much from his teachers and his friends, who he has been with the whole time. Periodically there are teacher-in-service days, which kind of sucks because I have to take off work, and you don't expect that with a daycare. HOWEVER, I actually think this is a great idea. I love that the teachers get training every few months, which brings new ideas into the classroom and these certifications are a great benefit for the teachers, some of whom are working towards degrees. You can tell when you visit the Young School that the teachers are happy and love their jobs. They make the day fun for the kids, even as they are teaching them discipline. This daycare is the most expensive place we visited, but not by that much, and it is head and shoulders above the other places in quality. I am so grateful to be able to send my son to such a fantastic school.
  
  I nearly forgot to mention that over the summer the kids do water play 4 days per week! The kids love this, and it must be such a huge amount of work for the teachers to get the kids changed and everything, so I am so impressed that they do it so often. We love the Young School!

  We moved our son to The Young School over two years ago now and he's been thriving since! Truly one of the best decision we made move him here. We're always amazed at what he comes home having learned. We now have our daughter here too, started her at 3 months, and she has done wonderfully. The teachers are attentive and care for my kids like they were there own. Definitely recommend!

  I have been very happy with my daughters' experience at The Young School in Gambrills. My wife and I have two daughters at The Young School, with a third one to start early next year. The school provides a nurturing environment while at the same time encouraging children to develop physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. We feel that the teachers and directors care deeply about our girls as individuals. The environment at The Young School stimulates creativity, ingenuity, physical development, and respect for others. The girls frequently come home with art projects, paintings, fun stories about their friends and teachers, and new ideas for creative play. Overall, we have been extremely impressed with The Young School and very satisfied with the level of care they have provided for our family.

  As a working parent, I was worried about finding a nurturing learning environment for my child. I'm so happy with our decision to enroll our daughter at The Young School. Her teachers have taken such amazing care of her from the time she was an infant, and she's happy and excited to see her friends and teachers every day. She has thrived in a learning environment that allows children to explore and play, yet has enough structure to have a daily routine to her day. The app allows parents to see how their child is doing throughout the day, see pictures, track their development, etc., and teachers and parents can communicate with one another as well. I highly recommend The Young School!

  Fantastic school! Our daughter has been going since 10 weeks old and we can't say enough good things about this school in the 6 months she's been there. She is in love with the ground level fish tank, low mirrors, and toys in the infant room. The teachers are wonderful, take excellent care of all the kids, constantly have music playing, and have a done a great job helping her explore her environment.
