“My son has been going to school her3 for the last three years and I couldn't be happier. The teachers all seem to be very devoted to the best education for you students, they have very clear, open lines of communication and my favorite, they have a robust music department that starts kids learning instruments at a young age. ”

“I have been learning at this school ever since Kindergarten and since I am in the fifth grade I am so sad that I am leaving. I hope the kindergarteners will have as great as experience that I have had in the last six years!”

“My son started here a few months ago after several bad experiences with public education. I worried that this would be like a juvenile detention center, but it isn't at all. High Road has been a wonderful experience for us. My son's grades have improved, his behavior has improved, and best of all, he enjoys going to school. In fact, he loves school so much that he spontaneously says he misses it when he is on vacation. The only things I do not like about this school are the lack of PE and other cultural arts instruction, but certainly that is not High Road's fault as their building cannot accommodate these things (for example, they have no outside space).”

“This is such a great school program. It's a co-op, which means you get to be in the class once a month and there is always 1 or 2 parents present in the classroom with the teacher. This is such a great thing to see how much your kid loves going to school. Tuition is more than affordable, and it's a close knit family feel in the entire school. It's a great program and I am glad my son will be here for the next year as well.”

“I toured this facility some months back. When I heard that it was under new management I decided to go back for another look. I was surprised to see how much had changed. The interior used to be dark and worn - dark brown carpets, and dark blue walls - looked gloomy. Now, it has nice wooden floors, light colored walls, pastel colored doors...very cheery. It was now very clean, bright, and inviting. The staff were friendly and diligent in answering my questions. The new management has also begun to implement their curriculum - which is very academically oriented. Lastly, they have initiated a Before-After School program for the local elementary schools and have their own transportation (bus) - which will be very helpful. If you are looking for child care, I’d definitely recommend stopping in for a tour!”

“I got a good view of the Archbishop Spalding High School campus from the plane in January 2016 as it approached Baltimore-Washington International Airport. They had their field set up for lacrosse practice. It looks like their goalkeeper was on the field training. I was on my way to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's annual national conference being held at the Baltimore Convention Center that year...”

“This school is GREAT! My son loves this school. He is doing so much better here. They take the time to work with the kids. If you have any questions the teachers are more than happy to help you, and they try to help fix the problems. They not only recognize when their students have a rough day, they also applaud, and recognize them for the good. My son looks forward to going to school everyday. The office is very big helps. Especially Ms. Nancy at the front desk. She is always pleasant and has the answers. She always tries to help find solutions around things as well. I want to say a big THANK YOU to overlook. The staff and everyone is GREAT!”

“Both of my children graduated from St. John's. I can not say enough wonderful things about the program. The teachers are creative and nuturing. The atmosphere is child centered and learning through play is the focus. I personally loved having a co-op as our family's introduction to school leaning. St. John's is also more affordable than other schools in the area. An added bonus...not only did my kids make friends we still keep in touch with but I made new mom friends too.”
