  I am here attending a funeral. This church is very nicely appointed. The people are very welcoming. The organist plays well, and the organ itself is in tune and sounds nice. The choir harmonizes well and sounds terrific.

  I attended this past Sunday service that was dedicated to the Seniors. And the pastor does have a heart of compassion for them. He made a statement that he made a promise to God that he would not neglect the seniors over the younger generation. I respect his vows, but he needs to realize it is our youth who need Jesus now, more than ever. I've noticed there isn't a vast amount of youth in his church but numbers is not the problem. Going out to the world and telling them the Message of the Cross, which is Christ and Christ crucified is what needs to be addressed. Church activities is not the answer either. The church is playing games while the enemy is plucking out souls that are headed toward the Kingdom. This is also for the seniors too. I returned for the fashion show, which I witnessed negative remarks about the pastor and unGodly attitudes. I don't think secular music should've been played either. Your chiror one Sunday sang a Marvin Gaye song putting Jesus in it. You cant take a song, put Jesus name on it and think it's okay, it's not. The bible says come from among the world. There are many churches that want Gods glory, but not the Cross. They want Gods rewards but not His sacrifice. The Message of the Cross, which is Jesus Christ and Christ crucified has been buried in todays churches with, feel good sermons, the power within (self power), entertainment activities, chior members that arent displaying a Christ crucified life and pastors that wink at sin. Your members seem to think you talk about money a bit much. I don't think that what it is; it's that you're worried about the future of the Kingdom from what you see when you look at your congeration. Pastor Johnson is a one of t!he few pastors on fire for the Lord. I watch who I listen to preach. Thousands of members mean nothing if lives aren't being changed. Our nation is in trouble and we desperately need an OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! Today the Cross is not being accepted, especially in our youth. Only one out of four teens participate in church youth groups on a regular basis, because they're not teaching the Cross, but are playing games, coming for entertainment and pizza. They don't see the church as revealant to meeting their needs. This world is not going to endure forever, but Jesus will!!! This message needs to be preached constantly. We go to church but how often do we think about Jesus? Not His birth, not His resurrection, but HIS SINLESS LIFE HE GAVE AND THE BEATING HE ENDURED AT THE CROSS! And Pastor Johnson, please don't worry (it's making you look much older than what you are) let go and let God. He can't solve your problems if you don't give them to Him. You can depend on His Word. The young man that is on fire for God in your church and the young lady that put the fashion show together are so anointed as well as yourself. Many are called, but few a chosen.
