Despite previously agreed terms, the seller developed amnesia regarding a significant detail... he had agreed to show me how to and would assist with lowering the mast prior to the boat being lifted and placed on my trailer. Thanks to Trey’s diligent efforts the seller acknowledged his responsibility and covered the yacht service’s charge for taking down the mast. They had an engineer take us through the entire engine room, had their Gunner testing guns and showed us the Navy quarters, had the radio operators using the am directional finder, showed us the holds, and everything on board was shown to us. the john w Brown is one of two remaining liberty ships out of 2700.
