  Two large pit bull dogs seemed lost and were wandering in our yard Sunday night. After a little coaxing, I managed to get them into our basement. Both appeared healthy, but neither had a collar. Luckily a neighbor knew to call BCAS and it was only about an hour before a friendly employee showed up to retrieve the dogs.
  
  After I had finally calmed them down and got them a little food and water, I was worried that there may be a huge fight trying to get them out of our basement and into the truck, but this woman must be incredible with animals, cause these dogs actually acted "happy to see her" as I let her into the room. All she had to do was put the leash she brought on them one at a time, then lead them to her truck. No fuss, no barking, no whining, or issues at all.
  
  If you know these lovable bruisers, I'm sure they are being taken care of by the folks at BCAS. They were wandering in the Woodbridge Valley community in Catonsville, where Pleasant Valley Drive and Crosby Road intersect on 12/16/2018.

  These people go above and beyond every time. So many of these negative reviews know nothing about what this location does or animal laws. Educate yourselves before being responsible for a pet or volunteer for an hour and see if you can hack it because I'm willing to bet you'd just complain.
  True animal lovers understand what these volunteers do so five stars to them.

  My wife and I went here to adopt a kitten, and ended up bringing two home. Both the same day. It was during their "free cat/kitten month" promotion two years ago, so all fees were waived. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Adopting from here really DOES save a life. The kittens we adopted have grown into awesome adult cats, and I honestly wish we had the room to adopt more(we currently have 6 cats and 3 dogs).
  From what we have seen over the past few years, all of the animals here are well taken care of, they just need a home. If you are within driving distance, this is a great place to adopt from.

  I have adopted from here multiple times and every experience was fantastic. The fees are super affordable (less than $100!!) and the kittens I rescued turned into amazing (very grateful and happy) lifelong friends. I was usually able to bring home my new kittens the same day, only a couple had to stay a little longer for their spay/neuter surgery, but never longer than a week. The people that helped me through the adoption process are always friendly and so caring. You even get a free month of pet health insurance, a free microchip (don't want your new baby getting lost!), and you'll get your pet license. What more could you ask for?? If you're considering adopting a pet please don't hesitate! You'll never regret it. :)
