  Was cold when I went, looks like it would great in the summer. Did see deer in the forest

  Clean, nice beach sands and water was not deep. Good place for family and kids.

  I love this place. Barbecue grills, play areas, boating, beach, parks and plenty of picnic areas for large family gatherings. I really just love the beach part of the experience the most. Just bring your swimsuits. Lots of families visit for reunions and partys, but aren't told there is a beach to cool off. So many people in the tub with clothes on.. Eww!

  There are so many parts to Gunpowder Falls State Park but this was my first time to the beach area. Even though it was a fall day being on the beach was perfect. There was so much wildlife to enjoy including two bald eagles playing in the air. There are so many trails and areas to hike!
  
  I loved the honor code for paying the $3 entrance fee into the park. All the money goes back into up keeping the park!!! It’s well worth the price and just a great place to go to enjoy nature and the great outdoors.

  Very good size beach. Floats are allowed, supervision is good. Food and drinks for sale on the premises. I've been here several times and have never had a problem. Friendly place to relax. Water is always great too
