(January 20, 2019, 11:11 am)Very desolate place without any public buildings around. Be ready to be lost in the woods. Connects to the York Heritage Rail Trail in Pennsylvania. Fun to walk across a state line.
(December 16, 2018, 6:02 pm)Great section of the rail trail. You can literally walk to Maryland from the New Freedom Rail Trail station and straddle the Mason-Dixon line. It's pretty cool standing in 2 states at the same time.

(June 6, 2018, 10:01 pm)Beautiful biking trail with many historic stops Along the way. Different access points with parking lots that do fill quickly on weekends and nice days. During the summer months Wednesdays a local group leads a ride through history detailing aspects of the trail.
