Outstanding Customer Service! I must say, most dealerships are there to treat customers as just another number, but the salesman Ahmad was the best I've seen. He treated me with high respect as we worked through the purchasing process. Always smiling and laughing and tried his best to put me into a car of my liking and not just any car like other dealerships. Even after the purchase of my new 2018 Mazda 3, things got a little delayed before I could leave the lot but Ahmad went out his way and treated me to lunch as the crew was finishing prepping/detailing my car. I truly respect this dealership as well as my salesperson. The amount of integrity was superb. Ahmad, you've just made me one happy customer and will definitely recommend. Keep up the great work!

I was not planning to purchase a Mazda. I am more of a Honda guy. I just happened to come across this dealership after making some online search.Just out of curiosity i went to this dealership. I was introduced to AHMAD SHAMI (sales rep ) at this dealership. Ahmad's knowledge and experience played an important role in my purchase decision. I came into Heritage Mazda Catonsville today to test drive a new car. I was impressed with the service from the moment I walked in. I didn’t have an appointment but Josh took me back to discuss what I was looking for in my new vehicle. Even though I had done my research, he still made sure that everything I was looking for in a new vehicle, Heritage Mazda could deliver. I needed to leave to pick up my kids from school and he asked if I’d want to take the new car I just test drove! I was able to show the car to the kids and to have my husband give it a spin. I knew after meeting with Josh and test driving the car that I wanted to buy the car, but the service and professionalism he delivered is what sealed the deal. I highly recommended Josh at Heritage Mazda Catonsville if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

From the moment we walked into the showroom to when we were handed the keys and drove off the lot, we were treated with kindness, respect, and patience. We had the best possible sales experience with Herb Thomas. He was very capable in answering our questions and concerns; providing all the details necessary without being bogged down in sales jargon. The entire sales team was very open and honest with the vehicle pricing/availability.

Overall, my car-buying experience here was much better than my only other buying experience (which I would have rated one star, at another dealership).

Positives: I was allowed to test drive a vehicle without a salesperson riding with me. The sales manager, Joe, was kind and willing to negotiate. I was pleased with the prices we settled on. Importantly, Joe was faithful to his word when it came to later interactions concerning my new car. My salesman, Herb, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. He stayed late to close out my deal.

Negatives: I had to be firm and assertive in negotiating throughout the entire purchasing process, a duration of about 4.5 hours. Joe tried to propose a lower value for my trade-in after I told him the minimum I would go. Nobody was forthcoming about helping me get a low APR. All of that seems pretty standard when it comes to buying a car.

Overall: I really like Herb and Joe as professionals and could see myself buying a car from them again in the future. As long as I showed fortitude, they were flexible. I'm very pleased with the vehicle and happy that the staff here are all so polite.
