  Had a wonderful and most informative tour. Last some three hours. Bob was amazing and so knowledgeable. So many computers and their history, as well printing press and typesetting machines. And we also had a great tour by Brendon on music and games too. If you are anywhere in the area, this is a must-visit stop. Allocate 3-4 hours if you can. Absolutely worth it!

  Great place to visit to learn about computer history. Lots of hands on exhibits and we got an awesome personal tour. I recommend K-12 teachers bring their students here and others who just have a general interest in computers. It was impressive to see many of the old computers working too. Best of all, it is free and they are continuing to add additional specimens. They do request you make an appointment so they can ensure there is someone there that speak to history of each exhibit. Highly recommended. Thank you System Source.

  I was a chaperone for a school trip for middle through high school students. What made this a really wonderful museum were the docent/presenters who made these outdated objects really interesting to these young visitors. The tour was interactive and engaging and embellished with little known stories. One minute we were amazed by an old computer and the next we are rooting for students to beat a computer at a game of tic tac toe. Every student was called on by name to pose and answer questions constantly. There was a workshop which allowed/encouraged students to take computers apart to identify components, followed by a programming workshop in a well equipped computer lab using some really cool software.

  What a wonderful place, not only an incredible amount of historic pieces of computer science but also a guide that told us many interesting story and anecdotes!

  Brendan was a great tour guide, and he really knows his stuff! As another review said, much of the displays are functional and interactive, which is awesome. This museum and Bloop (his own collections/exhibits in the museum) are a passion project for him, so I got a top-notch one-on-one 5 hour tour for the low price of free!
  
  Donations are very much appreciated, though, and are more interesting than an admission fee, so I brought some old software CDs as thanks. I've since remembered my attic full of old computer stuff that probably belongs in a museum, so I'll be visiting again to learn more computer and video game history!
  
  Oh, and they have some cool merchandise too - check it out in the photos I attached.
