“Walked out of this humble, warm inviting church on Christmas Eve with an overwhelming feeling of joyfulness and feeling in my heart the word of the Lord had touched me deeply. I have known the Deacon Jim Traband and his wife Dottie as high school friends. I'm not going into any detail but they were a fun loving couple from the 70's. I haven't been in touch with them for decades and they greeted us as though not one day had passed since we had last spoken. If you want to feel the word of the Lord, then is the place to worship him in a quiet gentle congregation. We will be back and thank you all for welcoming these newly born again christians. “This is such a welcoming church. I am always warmly greeted even though I am a boater and don’t attend often during the winter months, everyone is always happy to see me. The pastor, Donna Nelson is an excellent teaching pastor and really challenges us to be the very best children of God we can be. She has a children’s message time and she is so patient and respectful to the children as they learn more about the love of Jesus. She has an open sharing/prayer time and she remembers every persons name and the names of their loved ones as she prays for them. And the music is excellent, a nice mix of classic hymns and contemporary Christian music. So if you are looking for a church family, this is a wonderful place to come.”
