“The Garrison Fort is NOT a museum. More like a landmark. It's a centuries-old, small one-room house that is almost never open to the public. Still, you can look at it, walk around it, peer through its windows, and read the historical plaque that's posted there. In November, each year, there's usually a group of reenactors who set up an encampment there and open the Fort, show period activities and cook period food. Very interesting.”
