“One of those local treasures. Not a place you would notice driving past, sits back in a neighborhood. Well worth the trip though. Food is excellent, service is very good. “I've been ordering from Penny's for many yrs I highly recommend them! It's close to home very convenient, after being disappointed from several other places I ordered from in the past I have stuck with penny's as my back up when I don't cook or when I am too sick to go to the store and buy groceries! I once was sick in bed with the flu and couldn't hold nothing down nor couldn't cook, I ordered there soup of the day good old ( chicken noodle soup ) they had my favorite and they made it just the way I would have, wasn't salty was just right and I held it down it was awesomely good and was first meal I had in day's! I can't say anything bad as I not had any bad experiences with them! As for price It don't matter to me so long as I am pleased with the food and can't put a price on that although many agree & said they don't like the $2.00 delivery charge, most places don't/won't charge a fee to deliver!! I have loved and enjoyed everything I ordered so far to date, I just placed a order today for there chicken noodle soup & was told on the phone they just made Md crab soup but I stuck with the chicken noodle cuz I had it in the past n knew I wouldn't be disappointed, when they brought my order I found a order of there Md crab soup to try at no cost to me I was shocked but that's just penny's for ya' they go that extra mile for you! I took a bite of the crab soup and it was very good and home made just the way I would have made it! You can order food, wine, beer, cigarettes, soda's, if you never tried them out you won't be disappointed you got my word on it, I love them and the pple working there are very pleasant n kind! Get there menu today so you can see for yourself the wide choices they have to offer!”

“I don't live in the area. I've only been to this parish a few times while visiting. These see my impressions so far. Delightful, warm, and welcoming community and priest. The community is a diverse group of Orthodox - cradle and convert, immigrant and naturally-born American, an impressively healthy balance of all age groups. I have found it rare to come across a single parish that appears to possess such a balanced diversity. For those to whom it matters, this parish does about equal parts English, Arabic, and Greek for the services. While there is some diversity in the music, the services are sung primarily in the Byzantine chant from the Antiochian tradition. Whether Byzantine, Antiochian, or other, the singing is done beautifully. If you are someone looking a parish that is only English-speaking, I encourage you to go here if you are near by and looking for a canonical Orthodox Church.”

“I heard lots of great things about pie five pizza. I had been wanting to try the cauliflower pizza, so i did, and man was it delicious. I got the original pizza sauce, mushrooms, mozzarella, parmesan, feta, and cheddar cheese. It wasn't overbearing with the amount of different cheeses i had, it was perfect. “I used to live in Hawaii, and I have been looking for authentic Filipino food on the East Coast for years. I am happy to say that my search has ended. Everything here seems as authentic as can be. No "fusion", no watered down recipes, just traditional Filipino food, perfectly executed. I discovered this place about a month ago, and have been back 3 more times. It's great to have a place like this in Maryland. As an added bonus, you can also get Filipino groceries here to take home and cook up yourself. The staff here is also very friendly and willing to help those unfamiliar with the cuisine. My favorite dishes so far have been the pork egg noodles, lumpia shanghai, and the corned beef silog. They serve breakfast all day too!”

“The Italian sub is pretty tasty! It was fast. They were friendly. It was clean. The music wasn't too loud. I was directed to napkins, straws, lids etc. I really wanted some kind of steak and cheese sub but didn't see one on menu board. Not a lot of toppings but, again, my sub was still pretty good. I was comparing to Subway's combo thinking this is a little bit pricey. I realize this is an 8" vs Subway's 6" which makes it about $3 more for 2 inches! Other than that, I was happy with my visit.”
