“Our yacht club will stop by boat at Solomon's island Yacht club frequently when going up the Bay. I like the friendly atmosphere. Their willingness to accommodate the group. We don't usually take a slip but we did have group members who did and there was plenty of dock space (even for a cat), water and electricity. they have a single washer and dryer on premises . The location is perfect for a walk down the main road to West Marine for parts . Closer by are several restaurants and shops. Clean out and fuel are nearby if you need that. Churches - Catholic and Methodist.”

“He's not the only dentist in the area but he and his staff have been mine for almost 25-years; wouldn't think of going elsewhere. (The fact that staff members tend to stick around for years and years alone speaks volumes.) And he really knows major league baseball! (Inside details of which he expounds upon while my mouth is incapacitated from engaging in two-way conversation. But then they all do that; it's something I surmise they learn in dental school.)”

“Good ice cream, but the Italian ice is prepackaged, not scooped or soft serve. They had a pretty good variety of flavors and all the ones we tried were good. The servings were huge. We each ordered two scoops but all got three instead, which is good if you want a lot of ice cream but made it pretty hard to eat without making a huge mess. They also have some food like hotdogs, nachos and soft pretzels, but we didn’t try those.”
