  The best Taekwondo in our community! Master Kim is a highly skilled Martial Arts practitioner (and former US Army Sargeant!) He is able to teach to the highest level for students of all ages, but also has a special skill in dealing with our 3 YO that is easily distracted. (PS- the studio is the cleanest in town with brand new equipment) Five stars for MTA!

  Our son really enjoys his classes. He also looks forward to attending the programs during days off from school.

  I don't think I am exaggerating when I say master Kim spent his entire life, almost a half century, studying, practicing, demonstrating and teaching Taekwondo. He graduated, majoring in Taekwondo, from a prestigious university in South Korea that specializes in Martial arts and other sports. He was a member of the Korean national Taekwondo demonstration team and taught Taekwondo at various studios in South Korea. His demonstration career continued in his mandatory Korean military service years and his desire to take Taekwondo demonstration to wider international audiences led him to enlist in U.S. Army where he served as the captain of a Taekwondo demonstration team for seven years.
  
  I have been learning from master Kim since April of 2018, soon after he had opened his studio in Sykesville. Since I started learning Taekwondo master Kim showed me there are immediate and long term goals in Taekwondo and he helped me get focused and motivated on achieving those goals. In master Kim's class I found him to be a great teacher who understands what I can achieve and continuously and expeditiously lead me to keep advancing to the next level. I am very happy with my decision to enroll in master Kim's class and I strongly recommend to anyone who is interested in learning Taekwondo or for those interested in physical training but find the conventional gym unmotivating.

  Fantastic! My family has gone here for a few months. I’m a complete beginner (and started pretty out of shape but making good progress), my husband did TKD 20 years ago (and works out regularly) and my 8-year-old is a solid green belt. Master Kim has made it fun and challenging for each of us in the same class. And he’s made it really fun - with things like yoga stretching and family double dutch jump rope at the end of class. I highly recommend MTA for anyone looking for something fun and healthy to do together.

  Very good place
  Mr Kim is working hard with kids .
  I have 2 kids there - they love it.
  Gym is very nice and clean
